After turning professional at age 17, Nils hit the big time in 1971 when he played piano, guitar and sang on Neil Young’s platinum album “After the Gold Rush.” By 1975, Lofgren had disbanded his own seminal, D.C.-area band, Grin, and recorded his memorable solo debut, which featured strong original material, such as “Keith Don’t Go” and “Back It Up”, plus the definitive rendition of the Carole King classic “Goin’ Back.” Throughout the ensuing decades, Nils has continued to release fine studio and live CD’s, all built upon his beguiling melodies, heart-felt vocals and world-class guitar lines, while doubling as a member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band since 1984. Nils will be bringing his electric band and his thrilling performance style to Paramus.
